There again is the golden boy
Clutching hard his stoned silver toy
His head held up like silver Roy
His laugh echoed again full of joy
His hair danced in the silent wind
I watched him from the tall great hills
Oh! There again is yet another hint
His money is from that ancient mill
He is lonely everybody knew
But none smiled at him, only few
His eyes lit up and he asked “Who?”
They walked away and it wasn’t new
He cried that night when everybody slept
He was alone and his toy he left
His silver toy was soon a thief’s kept
And he was soon a tale that nobody felt

A beautiful line showing the relation between the lead character of the poem and the poetess.
