Waiting: A Poem

My life is moving
Like the wind on the shore
My days are growing
Growing with more hope

The night is laughing
Like the sea and the stars
The sunrise is waiting
Painting forgotten lands

The bridge of life drawing
A future no small
With chances I am walking
To lands that lie afar

My tomorrow is waiting
The present moving fast
For months I am hoping
For something to fall from the stars
